Love Pinterest and DIY magazines & blogs? Want a fun, casual, make-and-take project so you can craft and make in a low pressure environment? Check out our Make This! project classes. All are beginner-friendly, popular projects, many with all materials included.
These projects are accessible and family-friendly, and students aged 13 to adults are encouraged to join us for these classes (unless otherwise specified). Our project-oriented Make This! classes will focus on making a finished craft project, decorative or functional, using general techniques.

Make This! Photo Memory Box
Create a personalized wooden, fully lined photo art box, using your own photos. You will learn techniques and fundamental design concepts for creating a collage and applying decoupage. Then you learn how to install a padded lining to give your piece functionality and look professional. These make touching holiday or celebration gifts for your loved ones or for yourself.
Students will be provided an actual reclaimed wooden cigar box (not a generic craft box) and class fee includes all materials including your own photos printed on archival-safe paper suitable for decoupage.
Taught by Etsy Team Columbus captain Jamie Heavener of Hevvin Designs.

Sew This! Make a utility apron
Perfect for guys and gals alike to keep useful tools handy while you work on your projects, this beginner-friendly class will get you started with some basic sewing fundamentals–bring one yard of a stiff non-stretchy fabric (like cotton) of your choice (and a spool of thread of your color choice, or pick from what we have available), and learn how to tame the sewing machine so you can tackle simple, straight-line projects, and add pockets like a champ.
