Casey manages general business operations, commissioned projects, and special events & programming for the CIF including corporate and educational seminars.
She is a published author, most recently a piece of historical fiction for the bicentennial-themed anthology Columbus: Past, Present and Future and freelance writer. She is a weekly contributor to Punk Torah, a national online indie Jewish community. She is active in the local arts community and is on the leadership board of Etsy Team Columbus and is the business editor for the Etsy Team Columbus blog.Casey runs a small creative business, Sine Metu Designs, featuring jewelry & Judaica, with work available on Etsy and in local boutiques such asCS Galleryin Olde Towne.
Casey earned a Master of Science in criminology from the University of Cincinnati (2010) and a BA in psychology & criminology from Capital University (2006). She completed post-graduate Homeland Security studies, several FEMA training courses and field training with the Community Emergency Response Team. She recently returned to Capital University and is working towards an MBA.
