Woodshop Orientation-Don

Learn how to safely use the woodshop at the Columbus Idea Foundry.

This class will instruct participants on how to set up and use the woodshop tools properly. The instructor takes you through the steps one might use to create a wood project.
The class covers setup and safe use of the

  • 6” jointer.
  • 12” Surface Planer
  • 10” Cabinet Saw
  • 12” Cutoff Saw
  • 14” Band Saw
  • Oscillating Spindle Sander
  • Router Table with Router lift
  • 24”/44” Drum Sander
  • Panel Saw

After taking the orientation, CIF Members are eligible to use the woodshop for their own projects.
